Public reception given to American FOKANA Award winner Kadakkal Ramesh in Trivandrum

Kadakkal Ramesh, winner of American FOKANA Award for 2012, for his

outstanding services to the NRI Community,  was given a public reception in

Trivandrum by different NRI organizations. The reception function chaired

by Kalapremi Basheer Babu was inaugurated by Cultural & NORKA Minister

Sri. K. C. Joseph. The Minister presented a memento to Kadakkal Ramesh and

praised him for his NRI activities during the last 15 years.

Worshipful Mayor of Trivandrum Adv. K. Chandrika presented a citation to

Kadakkal Ramesh on behalf of the people of Trivandrum. Former minister

C. Divakaran MLA adorned Kadakkal Ramesh with Ponnada. Hidur Muhammed,

V. Surendran Pillai, Karamana Jayan, Prof. T. K. Thamby, Kayamkulam Younus,

Dr. Cyriac Maprayil, Vellayani Sreekumar and P. G. Sivababu felicitated on the

occasion. Kadakkal Ramesh expressed his gratitude for the reception. Pravasi

Bandhu S. Ahamed welcomed the gathering and S. Badusha proposed vote of
thanks.
