A new "Modi Star" at the horizon
A
new “Modi Star” in the horizon.

We take
this opportunity to congratulate Sri.Narendra Modi for being elected to the
highest post of Prime Minster of India in the recently held national elections,
in which his party secured a landslide victory with a clear mandate for single
party majority, after a gap of thirty years.
Mr.Modi
is occupying the top chair in the country when more than 100 crore people of
our nation are still struggling below the poverty line without proper food,
shelter, water, cloth, medicine, education and job, even after 66 years of
independence from British rule. The responsibility on the shoulder of the new
Prime minister is very big and Mr.Modi has to keep the poorest man’s
picture in his mind while taking every
decision, through which he is dreaming to lead India to a developed nation
within a period of ten years. Born in a very poor family in Gujarat, Mr.Modi
very well knows the problems faced by majority of the population of India. The
whole nation is eagerly looking towards the new Prime Minister, who brought
substantial development in the state of Gujarat as the Chief Minister since 2001,
after the devastating earthquake in which the whole economy of Gujarat was
almost fully shattered.
The people
of India are waiting for a strong central government, which will be scam-free,
which will keep good relation with the countries in the rest of the world,
especially with our immediate neighbours and which will always implement
development programmes to uplift the poor sections of our society and thus lead
the nation towards prosperity and economic independence. Mr.Modi who is highly
successful in coordinating his colleagues in Gujarat to make one of the most
developed states in our country, can very well follow the same strategy at the
centre also to push the country towards prosperity. In a vast country like
India with several languages, religions and social diversities, utmost
vigilance is required to keep the people and the country intact. Eradicating poverty from the society and creating
employment opportunities for the educated youth of our country are some of the
tough tasks the new government may face for some more years. By strictly
protecting the national exchequer from unlawful drain and keeping the fund for
development activities will surely help to implement several big projects in
our country which in turn will create job opportunities and eradicate poverty.
India is
graded as the third strongest economy, after
USA and China, of the world by the observations done by the United Nations
organization. In the fields of agriculture, space technology and Information
Technology India has moved far ahead of other nations in the world. But mainly
because of the mismanagement of the economy and non-democratic attitude of some
of our leaders have pulled down the living standards of majority of our people.
Eventhough
Kerala did not contribute any parliamentarian from our state with the same flag
color as that of Mr.Modi in the recent elections, the highly educated and
secular minded people of Kerala will definitely extend sincere welcome to
Mr.Modi as the new Prime Minister and cooperate with all the development
activities of the new government. The economic and social culture of Kerala are
entirely different from that of other states in our country, but the positive
thinking and the hard earned economic strength of our state helped us to jump
forward in a faster way.
We wish that
Mr.Modi will be capable of overcoming all the hurdles that he may confront
during his tenure and lead the nation to peace and prosperity.
